Future Goals:Someday I hope to not only be a successful facilities manager but a humanitarian as well. I would like to use my skills on helping my home country, Afghanistan, and further their development.
Who do you look up to? Why? I look up to my grandfather because he has gone through more things than I will ever go through. After his father died, my grandpa who was a young boy then, managed to work and help his sisters and mother put food on the table. He established a name for himself in Afghanistan and open a successful factory and raise 10 children while continuing to house his mother. He was able to save his family from the Taliban and leave everything behind in order to lead a safe life somewhere else. I have never met anyone as strong or as wise as him. Someday I hope I will be able to be as strong as him and have people respect me as much as they respect him. What makes you proud of your ethnicity? In a small country about the size of Texas, we have some of teh most different looking people you will find. The Hazaras, Tajiks, Pashtuns, Turks, Uzbeks, Baluchis, etc. all look completely different from one another. With such a rich culture there is also a rich history. My people have fought since they've gained their independence to keep their country and prevent it from invades. After decades it is finally slowly going back to peace and I look forward to stepping on the soil which contains all my culture and makes me who I am today. Honest, creative, wild |
