Future Goals: Graduate; get an internship; get a job; travel as much as possible; possibly go to fashion
school. Describe a strength and a weakness: My strength is my sense of integrity. I do not believe in sitting along the sides and letting things happen that I am not okay with (without reason, of course). I am willing to do what I believe is right for me and for others. I have dreams that I want to reach for. Along with integrity, my weakness would have to be communication. Communicating to others on what I believe in has been a difficult, only because I have always been a mute person. Growing up, I was very shy and quiet. In high school, I learned that I was not getting what I wanted by being silent. Each and every day, I am slowly learning on how to stand up for myself. It is hard to get my point straight across or to let people know my ideas since I am terrible at expressing myself. Who do you look up to? Why? In all honesty, my parents are the best. My mom grew up in the streets, selling pieces of jewelry that she and my grandmother make together to sell for a few cents. My father had to hide for his life when he wanted to go anywhere. My parents were children of the Vietnam War and it is important to them to teach me and my sister the different lives they lived compared to our lives today. We have it easy with our freedom to education and opportunities in America. In Vietnam, the goal was to survive through the hopeless destruction of war. Even though my parents and I do not get along with our clashing perspective on things, I appreciate them for all they have gone through to give me and my sister today. I know they love us and I am so glad to have supportive people who not only support my sister and I, but in themselves. They taught me to have faith and to go for what you want, even through life-threatening situations such as the war. Conscientious, loving, selfless |

Future Goals: Become a Broadcaster working on TV/Radio and behind the scenes.
Who do you look up to? Why? My father, he is my hero and my everything, I cannot ask for a better father. He supports his family and he works hard and loves with all his heart. Such a kind-hearted man and would do anything for his family and friends. He is my definition of a hero and I love him. What makes you proud of your ethnicity? I’m proud to be Asian because we’re not like any other races; we’re different in so many ways. We do and say stuff that only other Asians would understand (such as talking FOB on purpose) and our food is the most amazing thing ever invented. Also, our values are so much different than other races either if it is morals, marriage, or etc. We have strong morals and respect for one another and to everyone else. Outgoing, caring, loyal |

Future Goals: Become successful in whatever I choose to be. Have a lovely family and ultimately be happy.
Describe a strength and a weakness: One of my strengths is I am reliable, as I hate to disappoint people. I am also always there for anyone if they need me. My biggest weakness would be that I am too critical of myself. I always feel like what I do is not perfect or enough. What makes you proud of your ethnicity? I am proud to be Vietnamese because I find that we are all extremely hard workers. My parents, for example, fled from Vietnam to start a completely new life in America, with nothing and no one to assist them. Charismatic, amiable, clumsy |

Future Goals: Become a nurse and go abroad to help children in other countries.
Describe strength and a weakness: Intelligent – I am an avid book reader and inspiring to become a nurse Timid – I don’t like to put myself outside of my comfort zone Who do you look up to? Why? I look up to my grandmother because she taught me that family should always be first and money isn’t important. Money can be important in building a family, but it shouldn’t be a priority in a person’s life. Sarcastic, witty, laidback |

Future Goals: Become a finance rep at the stock market in New York.
Describe a strength and weakness: My ultimate strength is my determination and drive. Once I have a set goal I do whatever it takes to succeed. My weakness would be because I’m determined I’m too stubborn, therefore, my stubbornness does not allow me to let things go. Who do you look up to? Why? My parents. They have gone through a journey from Vietnam to the United States, a journey that could never be described in words that could ever give them enough merit. And for them to come and be as successful and optimistic and caring as they are after everything they have gone through my parents representing a strong, loving determined and successful life and family. I hope one day I could show that much pride and honor, persistence and love as much as my parents. Persistent, outgoing, selfless |

The second quality is being open to new experience and able to gain more knowledge from those experiences.
