I would proudly represent Miss Temple Asia by exempifying a strong and proud woman that will uphold the title. The different cultures will all in the one continent all have one thing in common and that is diversity. Almost every country has a variety of languages and faces that represent the culture and I will continue to get to know more about them and meet more people from the different cultures. |

I would feel honored if I were to win Miss Temple Asia. Not just because it is a beauty pageant and I could possibly win a scholarship, but also because it would make my family proud. I’m obviously the odd ball on my father’s side (the Chinese half) of the family because I am mixed with another ethnicity, but this would be a way to prove that I am proud of who I am and although not being full Chinese, I can represent Asian women in a positive light. I would definitely become more involved in the Asian community on campus by joining other organizations and being even more supportive of the things that they stand for. |

If I were to win, I‘d represent the title to the best of my abilities. I may not have it all or know how to do everything, but I believe that if given the chance, I can fulfill my duties as Miss Temple Asia just the same way I’ve put my heart and soul into everything that I’ve held valuable in my life. I might surprise you. |

If I were to win the title of Miss Temple Asia, I want to exemplify the greatness of Asian American women and how much we can conquer. Also, this title will give me more confidence to help other less confident Asian women to be proud of who they are and where they come from. Also, winning Miss Temple Asia will help me illustrate how important it is to promote Asian awareness by creating various community service projects and to overall develop and help better the representation of the Asian community. |

In addition to supporting other Asian student organizations on campus and educating the greater Philadelphia area about Asian-Americans (our struggles and rights), I would seek to redefine pageants, transcending objectification and wearing the title as an emblem of grace, strength, and intellect. |

I am a sister of Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority Inc. And as a sister I have been involved in many events including our annual philanthropy to help raise awareness on campus about orphans in China as well as being a volunteer in the Mid-Autumn festival. In addition I have been on our e-board for the past two years. I would spread Asian awareness and advocate world peace. |

If I were to win Miss Temple Asia, I would represent the title by showing the Temple and Greater Philadelphia community how much pride Asian-Americans have in their culture and heritage. I would get involved in projects that benefit the Asian-American community, and represent that community’s youth to Temple University. |
